Union County College is offering a free demonstration class, called “Girls Gone Wired II: A Night with Python,” to host an Hour of Code™ event during Computer Science Education Week, which runs from Dec. 5-11, 2016.
The College will offer the free class at its Cranford Campus, located at 1033 Springfield Avenue. The class will be held on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Room SD 206 (second floor of the Student Development Building). All are welcome.
Participants will learn basic Python programming and develop materials using the programming language. No programming experience is required to attend. The course will be led by Beth Ritter-Guth, Union’s Director of Instructional Design at the College.
The course is free, but registration is required because there are a limited number of spots are available. The program is open to anyone aged 12 and above. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org .
